Personal funny headcanon time! We all know Match in the anime dub has one of those “exaggerated Scottish accent done by a non-Scottish person”. I ended up playing on that here, the idea in this comic is that he’s mostly Japanese as far as he knows. His accent came from an ancestor who really was from Scotland, but from there the accent kept getting ‘passed down’ over generations in his family. If that makes sense? Honestly I just think this kind of idea is fun to explore lol
