It’s not May yet, but I made this to showcase the MerMay designs I came up with for HeatMan and FlameMan! So yeah, an oyster with a black pearl for his head, and a porcupine fish.

Basically fish!FlameMan puffing up is meant to be reminiscent of the original Navi covering himself in flames. I think it turned out pretty clever. :D

Also, this is also me testing out a quick way of doing shading and lighting with art like this, which are multiple “drawings” in one. Basically just slap on a quick gradient block and then warp it to fit over the colors on each drawing. Same with the lines. Obviously not as accurate if I had done it manually, but for being a quick thing, I think it works out well enough. :>
