Welp! Something unusual from what I normally post of course!! :P

Admittedly this is part of a set of drawings I did after a discussion with a friend elsewhere about how a lot of people in the Mega Man fandoms (not just Battle Network) are weirdly focused on getting/making fanservice involving the child or child-like characters. And just ignoring the adults, and a lot of times not bothering to even age up the child characters anyways. So I know there's the whole "It's just fiction!", but it's still really weird. Not to mention those kind of people get really aggressive about it when you talk about it, even when they weren't included in the conversation, or at least that always happens to me. :/

But for the drawing itself, I also practiced something new: Lighting! I'm found that it seems cel lighting works best when it's more subtle, just along the edges or something, compared to cel shading. I think. I'm still debating on whether I want this to be a regular thing in my art. I did it for this set, and maybe I'll do it for MerMay this year too, but after that, I think I'm gonna try to practice it before trying it out again. Maybe for my Drawtober drawings, and we'll see from there? Maybe.

Anyways! This kind of stuff doesn't do much for me? But I figured it'd be fun to draw a set of these, maybe I'll encourage people to draw this more for the adult BN characters. I'm just saying, if people out there are gonna be obsessed with making fanservice (and usually not even bother with putting proper tags and filters, how rude...), can't they have the decent to draw it for the adult characters instead? Like, again, already plenty of attractive-looking adults, but no, some people prefer creepy fanservice with the child characters, while they're still kids. Even if it's not illegal or anything in most(?) places, surely I'm not the only one who thinks that's still weird?! :ohno:
