I did it! Busts of my OCs! Well, seven of them anyways. Thanks again to @papillonthepirate for the suggestion!! :D I’m still, a little mad at myself for not trying to finish this sooner, but still! It’s something!

Also drawing this made me realize that I really should practice drawing some of these character a lot more, since. I’m not entirely satisfied with how I draw them. Practice, gotta practice!

Little tidbits on each one under the cut!

So, top to bottom, left to right:

Nillun, a quiet person. Very, very quiet! They don’t like speaking English, and tend to speak English in only one or two words. They understand it perfectly, they just really dislike speaking it. They’re much more talkative in Spanish. They also tend to get focus on one thing or action, sometimes to the detriment of others and themself. Though this also means that if they’re tasked with doing something, they’ll definitely get it done! Has a magical mask that can give them different abilities, a giant gauntlet that uses space magic, and loves to draw.

Zach, he’s the kind of guy that tries his best to be optimistic, but at the same time he gets scared/sad/angry quite easily! Also always the first one who tries to lighten a gloomy mood. Usually with tasteful jokes. And puns! He has various cartoon-related abilities (which I could probably take a while to explain so I’ll save it for his eventual ref sheet :P ). He’s also a programmer who loves to waste spend time on the Internet, and he looooves music. He’s got a huge collection of CDs and the like, and has a talent for being able to play just about any instrument.

Halilah, or Hali for short, she likes run and jump and explore, and she hates having to stay in one spot or do one thing for too long. It gets boring too quickly! She also would be voted most like to start a fight by sassing someone too much. She’s very much the kind of person to be honest even if it’s harsh! Haly can manipulate water (even as ice or steam!), and has dream powers that allow her to see prophecies and interact with the real world in her sleep via astral projection (among other dream abilities, but that’d be for the ref sheet). Also, in case it’s not obvious, she’s an anthro animal. Cat-monkey-rabbit-squirrel!

Benji (his name used to be Benzi but I changed it :P ), he tends to come off as shy to most people, but it’s more that he tends to be very untrusting/suspicious of strangers. Once he starts to trust someone, he’s very sweet and kind! And sometimes he tends to worry about his friends a little too much, oops. Benji is very much a pacifist, preferring to talk things out or run away/get on the defensive than to directly fight. He’s not entirely good at it anyways! He knows magic, but pretty much every spell he uses are meant for enhancement or defense. He can also craft potions, perform divination, draw sigils,create wards, carry out rituals, and has extensive knowledge on magical uses for pretty much any herbs/crystals/etc.

Suyapa, she’s smart and kind, and loves flowers and fashion. And she fights with both! She has magical flowers that can change into her weapons and equipment, and can even summon goddesses with certain flowers! Suyapa also likes to read a lot, and loves sci-fi and fantasy the most, especially a mix of the two. She reads novels, comics, just about anything as long as it appeals to her. She also writes her own stuff! So far it’s been one-shot stories for anthologies and the like, but she hopes to start a book series someday.

Qwertzert, he’s a robot clown! His head is a hard light object that can change into different shapes to indicate his mood. His designer did this as a way to make his less scary to kids (thinking about how clown makeup to exaggerate their face also makes them look scary to most people), however the lack of face still tends to be off-putting. Still, he’s an entertainer and caretaker robot, designed to keep people happy! Which means he’s not much of a fighter, and he really is one of the more delicate characters, at least by robot standards.

Lulalu, she speaks in monotone which makes he come off as bored/rude to most people, but she really doesn’t mean to be. She’s just a laid-back, go-with-the-flow kind of person. No need to sweat the little stuff, just do your best! Related to that, she’s pretty good at talking with people to help them understand their problems if they have any, suggestions on how to handle said problems, look at an issue from a different angle, etc. Lulalu also loves to cook, although she dislikes the time it takes to prep certain ingredients (especially chopping/peeling a large number of ingredients). If someone’s willing to help her with that, she’d be more than happy to cook something for them.
