Gallery of the Marquise

This page is to showcase some of my art projects! Both fan art and originals, the latter of which is mostly tied to stuff I'm working on for my personal worldbuilding wiki. Check out my Writing page for more information about that!

Overall, I post most of my art to my Bluesky and art Tumblr. I also have a DeviantArt account, but that's basically acting as just an archive and I don't post there anymore, due to a lot of shenanigans from DeviantArt's management.

Besides fan art for my favorite series on my Collection page, and stuff for my original projects, there's a few specific art things I like to do. Namely:

  • A drawing for MerMay every year! I know there's bigger Mermay challenges for each day of May, but I prefer to just make one art
  • Also at least one art for Pride Month every year, sometimes with one of my favorite pairings from my Collection page if it fits, but also sometimes for LGBT+ headcanons in general.
  • I participate in Drawtober each year, which is a set of six themed Halloween-related drawings for the month of October.
  • I will occasionally be open to doing art trades as well. For a while, I would hold my own little Valentines Art Trades from January to end of March. Basically draw me one of my favorite pairings from my Collection page (or write about them), and I'll draw one of your favorite pairings, including OCs! Or a non-shipping friendship art, that's fine too.
  • I will sometimes participate in Secret Santa events for certain fandoms, though it depends on my availability and interests.

I am also maintaining an archive of my art and posts here. It's mainly to make sure I'm able to keep my art online without having to worry about volitale social media websites either becoming unusuable, or arbitrarily deciding that something in my art is "wrong" and banning me for it without appeal. Below is a small sample gallery of some of my favorite works! Will probably add more in the future too. Note that for each image, the signature in the lower right will show whichever social media account I posted it to first. Click any of the thumbnails to see a full view of the art!

Fanart

A drawing I did of Ancient Mew, from Pokemon! It's only been featured in a special trading card, but I still really love this design. A redesign I did of the Dead Hand from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I wanted it to be even more scary than it is in game! Fan art of Gomess, a mini-boss from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Probably my favorite mini-boss of the whole series on design alone! A silly little drawing I did of a Shuckle (from Pokemon), 'no me jodas' is Spanish for 'don't mess with me' more or less. I made this for Robot Rumpus 2021. A nice holiday card featuring Serenade.EXE from MegaMan Battle Network! This was for Robot Rumpus 2022, of Magic Man from the classic Mega Man games. I love how this turned out, especially with the sparkles and presents! For a Valentines contest back in 2020, this features Maddy and Mr. Match from the MegaMan Battle Network series. I still love how this turned out, especially with the red-orange-pink color scheme!

Original Art

These two are my OCs Benji (left) and Mesha (right). They are boyfriends, in case you couldn't tell! This art uses stock images (with all of them being further modified), and was inspired by the song 'PIERRE JANET'S CRIMINAL DEFENSE' by the artist GHOST. I still love how this turned out, and I hope to do another art piece with stock images in the future! Another OC of mine, her name is Lulalu! A very laidback gal. This was just something I made quickly as a sort of proof of concept for an idea I have: a dating sim where all the love interests are various forms of angels! My oldest OC ever, I came up with Zach back in middle school. He was inspired by a Jello commercial of all things!
